7. (2010-2011) Charlotte Bobcats

Following an impressive playoff season, the Bobcats could not follow up their performance with a good season. The Cats finished the season with an overall record of 34-48 on the year.

Key contributors on this team consisted of Stephen Jackson (18.5 PPG), Gerald Wallace (15.6 PPG), D.J. Augustin (14.4 PPG), and Boris Diaw (11.3 PPG). The scoring was a majority effort from all of the players on the roster.

Midway through the season, the Bobcats would make a huge trade; trading Gerald Wallace to the Portland Trailblazers for Dante Cunningham, Sean Marks, Joel Przybilla, and two first round picks. This trade proved not to be a great one for the team.

The Bobcats would not get any worth from the draft picks that they received from Portland. With the picks, they selected Tobias Harris (traded on draft night to the Milwaukee Bucks) and Shabazz Napier (traded to the Miami Heat).

The trade could be known as one of the biggest ripoffs in franchise history. None of the assets that Charlotte got back were good enough to suffice the worth of Gerald Wallace.

Following this season, the Bobcats would go on to draft a player who would turn the franchise around. Kemba Walker was drafted after the season in the first round of the NBA draft.
