3. The development of Miles Bridges

During the middle of the season, some rookies typically hit the “rookie wall”, while some are able to power through it. Regardless of what Charlotte Hornets rookie Miles Bridges goes through, his development throughout the year is going to be fun for Hornets fans to watch.

If he continues to improve and play at a high level, then that’s great. If he does hit a rough patch and struggles a bit, that’s fine too. Obviously, you’d always like to see him play well, but it’s important that he learns from his mistakes and gets better because of them.

Bridges is currently averaging 7.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 20.2 minutes in his first NBA season. He was drafted 12th overall by the Los Angeles Clippers and was traded to Charlotte on draft night.

His athleticism is always on display. We’ve seen multiple emphatic dunks from him this season, but that’s not his only strength. He’s also shown that he’s a capable three-point shooter, especially from the corner.

There’s no question that Miles Bridges is a major key to the Charlotte Hornets future. He’s an exciting prospect that has really high upside. His development as a rookie will be important for the team moving forward.
