Jeremy Lamb’s game-winning shot vs Pistons

This was another exciting moment from this season. It seemed as if Kemba Walker was going to take the last shot and try to win the game for Charlotte, but Jeremy Lamb stepped up and knocked down a deep two-pointer to put the Hornets in front.

Malik Monk complicated things afterwards when he received a technical foul for celebrating on the court too early. Team owner and NBA legend Michael Jordan gave Monk a playful slap on the back of the head after Monk’s mistake.

Luckily, the Hornets still won the game. It was dramatic at the end, and it was so cool to see Jeremy Lamb, who has improved so much this season, take and make the big shot. Lamb has proven to be a good sidekick for Kemba Walker throughout the season.

It was a wild finish that had everyone talking. From Lamb’s game-winning shot itself to Monk’s potentially critical mistake, it made for one of the best and one of the more dramatic moments of 2018.

Hopefully Lamb can be more of a closer for the Hornets in 2019 and take some pressure off of Kemba Walker down the stretch of games. With this shot, he’s shown that he is capable of being the teams secondary closer.
