61-point victory over Memphis Grizzlies

Man, talk about annihilation. Back on March 22nd, the Charlotte Hornets defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 140-79. That’s a 61-point win.

This was only the sixth 60-point-or-greater win in NBA history. It may have been against the Grizzlies, who at that time were pretty much tanking their season, but still, that’s very impressive. Kemba Walker finished the game with an incredible 46 points in just 28 minutes of action. Walker made 10 three-pointers as well.

What made this dominant win even more impressive was the fact that Charlotte was playing without their starting center Dwight Howard. Howard, who is now with the Washington Wizards, did not play in that game due to a suspension.

It was the largest margin of victory in franchise history, which isn’t a surprise, honestly. It was also the biggest loss in Grizzlies history. This was the kind of game that you wish could go on forever. It seemed like everyone was in rhythm and making plays.

You don’t see games like this very often, which makes it even more stunning. Beating an NBA team by 61 points is incredible.

Next. Hornets continue to show interest in Bradley Beal. dark

Like I said earlier, 2018 did have some good moments, but we are hoping for even more in 2019. Hopefully this is the year the Hornets return to the playoffs, which could end up being a key factor in Kemba Walker’s free agency.
