Kemba Walker needs help.”

That’s what you’ll often hear from spectators around the league regarding Kemba Walker and the Charlotte Hornets. It’s true, Kemba could use some more talent around him, and maybe Love would be a good fit.

It’s no secret that the team is looking at all sorts of roster moves in order to bring in some talent to put around Walker. With his upcoming unrestricted free agency, this is a potentially make or break season for the Hornets. Adding a talent like Love could convince him that things are going in the right direction.

Walker and Love would be a fascinating duo. Love is primarily a pick-and-pop modern day big man, but he can mix things up and make things happen in the paint. Love and Kemba in that pick-and-pop game could be deadly.

With Kemba’s driving ability, teams are going to focus on him getting to the rim, which could free up room for Love to do work on the perimeter. The guy is a walking double-double and would fit nicely in the Hornets offense.

If Love ended up in Charlotte, he could be the best teammate that Kemba Walker has ever had, to be honest.
