Improved front court production

While the Charlotte Hornets have a solid collection of front court players, they could use an upgrade, and Kevin Love would be a big upgrade for the team.

I love what Marvin Williams and Cody Zeller do for this team. However, they won’t make as much of an impact compared to Kevin Love. Love will give you floor spacing, elite rebounding and a legit double-double candidate every single night on the court.

He’s not the best defensive player in the world, but he has had some good moments on that end of the floor throughout his career, especially during his championship run with the Cavaliers. Starting Love and putting a guy like Williams on the bench would bolster both the starting unit and the second unit.

I really wouldn’t be surprised if Love found his way to Charlotte and averaged 20+ points and 10+ rebounds per game like he did earlier in his career. It would be nice to see him on the court now with Cleveland as the top option, but again, he’s injured and has only played four games this season.

Bringing in Love to solidify the front court play would be a big addition for the Charlotte Hornets.
