Marc Gasol would be Kemba Walker’s best teammate of all time

Kemba Walker has played with some great players over the years, but has never played with someone like Marc Gasol, who is still playing at a high level at age 34.

His play style is going to very reliable as he gets older and deeper into his career. He hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down, and I think Gasol could do even more on a playoff team. Right now, the big man from Spain is averaging 15.7 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists while shooting 34 percent from three-point territory.

When talking about who has been Kemba Walker’s best teammate in his career, Al Jefferson definitely comes to mind. He had a great three years with Charlotte, and even averaged over 21 points per game during the 2013-14 season.

I’m an old-school guy. I love watching Big Al play, but you can certainly make the case that Marc Gasol has always been a better player, especially on the defensive end of the floor. If he ends up with the Hornets, he’ll give Kemba a legit All-Star caliber player to team up with, and that will likely translate to more wins.

Kemba Walker and Marc Gasol would be an awesome duo to watch.
