If the Charlotte Hornets were to target a center during the 2019 NBA Draft, they would have plenty of options to choose from.

Folks, it’s almost NBA Draft season. The Charlotte Hornets are in the middle of a playoff push, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look ahead to the most exciting time in June.

Being that we are only three months away from the draft, and just weeks away from March Madness, now is the time to begin pumping out some draft coverage.

Last month, I wrote an article about five prospects the Charlotte Hornets should consider taking in the first round. Today, we’ll be looking at five centers they should target during June’s draft. Be on the look out for more about the draft in the future.

We, of course, do not yet know where the Hornets will be picking in the draft, but the 12-16 range sounds fair. They will end up with a good first round pick, and it would not surprise me if they look to add a young center through the NBA Draft.

The Hornets already have some quality centers on the roster, but adding a young prospect to the front court would be ideal. This years draft class is expected to have a nice amount of depth in the front court.

We shall start things off with a man of mystery in this years draft class, a 6’11” center from the Republic of Georgia who should easily be a first rounder come June.
