No. 10 – Minnesota Timberwolves:

Zachary Padmore – Coby White. (North Carolina)

“Coby White surprised me with his play as a freshman at North Carolina. He has clearly identified himself as one of the top point guards in this years draft class.

There’s a lot to like about White. He’s a combo guard that can really shoot it, but he also takes the ball to the basket quite often and is crafty around the rim. He’s also a solid playmaker, but has room to improve in that area.

I worry about him defensively, but other than that, I love him as a prospect. He’d be a great fit in Minnesota, considering they could use an upgrade at point guard. Jeff Teague has disappointed during his time in Minnesota.”

Giovanni Spillman – Jarrett Culver. (Texas Tech)

“The Timberwolves would benefit in this draft by selecting another guard. Jarrett Culver would be a nice addition to the shooting guard position for Minnesota and would definitely be a strong force in their rotation.

He has nice size for a guard, and averaged a nice 18.9 points per game for Texas Tech this season. While in college, he also earned the Big 12 POY award this season. If he improves his shooting from the perimeter, I think he can be a weapon for the Timberwolves.”
