No. 13 – Orlando Magic:

Zachary Padmore – Nassir Little. (North Carolina)

“Prior to the college basketball season, many had Nassir Little as a top-three draft pick. He won’t be going that high, but he still has a chance to land in the lottery, and he could be another good pickup for a Magic team on the rise.

His shooting isn’t great, but his form is good and he has potential in that area. He’s a really strong kid that plays defense and has crazy athleticism. Orlando already has a few players that fit that mold, including Jonathan Isaac.

I’m not sure if Little will ever be a star, but I do think that he will be a very good two-way player in the NBA, despite his underwhelming season at North Carolina. He’s just too talented not to pan out.”

Giovanni Spillman – Darius Garland. (Vanderbilt)

“Even though the Orlando Magic traded for Markelle Fultz, it is still unclear if he will be the future for the Magic. Just for insurance purposes, I see the Magic selecting Garland at their spot in the draft.

Garland is a one-year college athlete that averaged 16.2 points and 2.6 assists per game for Vanderbilt this season. Garland has nice range from deep and has proven to be an efficient scorer.

Even though he is only 6’2″, I feel that he could be a dangerous scoring option for Steve Clifford’s offense.”
