No. 25 – Portland Trail Blazers:

Zachary Padmore – Kevin Porter Jr. (USC)

“Kevin Porter Jr is a player with a massive amount of upside, but he does have some legit concerns. He was suspended during his freshman season at USC, and also dealt with injury, which killed the momentum he had in the beginning of the season.

Looking past that, Porter Jr has a lot of tools and I would personally pick him higher than 25th overall. To me, he’s a lottery talent. We’ll see if he can raise his draft stock during the pre-draft process.

Porter Jr. would give Portland another dynamic guard/forward that they can develop. Learning from guys like Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum would be great for him in the NBA.”

Giovanni Spillman – Naz Reid. (LSU)

“At this pick, I see the Trail Blazers going after the LSU alumni, Naz Reid. The Trail Blazers do not currently have a productive player at their power forward position, and I feel that Reid would fit nicely in the front court with Jusuf Nurkic.

Reid finished his only year in college with 13.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. He is an efficient scorer from all over the floor, and he has a nice perimeter game that he has been working on.

He started all but two games this season, and has shown scouts that he can play at a high level. I do not think that he can be an instant starter, but I do think the Trail Blazers would look to start him midway through his rookie year.”
