No. 28 – Golden State Warriors:

Zachary Padmore – Luguentz Dort. (Arizona State)

“Here’s another one of my favorite prospects in this years draft. Luguentz Dort is an exciting prospect and could be on the radar of teams picking late in the first round.

I absolutely love Dort’s will to win. He always plays with 100 percent effort, and it shows. He’s built like a football player, so he’s able to use that big body when going into the paint to draw contact and get to the line.

He’s also a really good defensive player, and will be able to guard both guard positions in the NBA. His biggest weakness is easily his shooting, and it’s going to have to be something he works on considerably.

Dort’s best case scenario for me would be turning into a Victor Oladipo like player, and his worst case scenario would be turning into a Marcus Smart like player, which isn’t bad at all. He’d give the Warriors a young guard to develop while Curry continues to dominate the league into his 30’s.”

Giovanni Spillman – Kris Wilkes. (UCLA)

“The Warriors are simply a finals team every year at this moment. They have a starting unit that consists of five All-Stars, and their team is stacked.

With Kevin Durant rumors surfacing about him leaving in the off-season, I see the Warriors taking a small-forward in the draft for insurance purposes. Kris Wilkes has good size and can play both the two and three spots.

He is a proven scorer from UCLA; he averaged 17.3 points per game this season. He has a nice three-point game, and I see him blossoming under Head Coach Steve Kerr.”
