No. 2 – Phoenix Suns:

Zachary Padmore – Ja Morant. (Murray State)

“In my opinion, Ja Morant has solidified himself as the second best player in this draft. He’d be a perfect fit with a young Suns team that is in dying need of a point guard.

Morant possesses elite athleticism to go along with his sensational passing and finishing. His jump-shot isn’t the best, but he’s got plenty of time to develop that part of his game. If Phoenix can pair him with Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton, they could finally make a jump and win some games.

If the Suns are picking second on draft night, I would fully expect them to roll the dice and make Ja Morant the second overall selection.”

Giovanni Spillman – Ja Morant. (Murray State)

“With Zion off the board, there is no clearer option for the Phoenix Suns. Morant is the perfect prospect for the Suns, as they are currently lacking a true point guard.

Morant is a triple-double machine, and I think that he can play complimentary basketball with Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton.

He has averaged 24 points per game for Murray State, and it’s no secret that he knows how to score the basketball.”
