Charlotte Hornets: 2019 NBA Mock Draft Vol. 1
No. 5 – Atlanta Hawks:
Zachary Padmore – Cameron Reddish. (Duke)
“At this point, the ideal landing spot for Reddish has got to be with Atlanta. He’d provide some needed spacing and would be a major threat next to Trae Young and John Collins. Adding Reddish to the fold and with another lottery pick this year, Atlanta could be scary good really soon.
Reddish is not my favorite prospect, but you can’t deny his talent. He’s got a smooth three-point stroke, he’s a solid defender and has good size and length.
I would love to see him play with more energy and passion. it’s a legit concern that I have, but a concern that won’t have him fall outside of the lottery.”
Giovanni Spillman – Rui Hachimura. (Gonzaga)
“Rui Hachimura is a player that is athletic and dynamic at both forward positions. He has proven to be an offensive threat for Gonzaga this season and has the potential to be a starter for the Atlanta Hawks if selected.
The Hawks currently lack a dynamic small forward on their lineup that could start long-term. It should also be noted that this pick could go no wrong, as the Hawks will likely also have the Dallas Mavericks draft selection as well.”
