No. 8 – New Orleans Pelicans:

Zachary Padmore – De’Andre Hunter. (Virginia)

“De’Andre Hunter is one of my personal favorites in this years draft, and I could really see him going anywhere from 4th to 12th overall. New Orleans would certainly be a good landing spot for the sophomore.

I love guys who play both ends of the floor, and Hunter does exactly that. He’s one of the best perimeter defenders in the draft, and has shown promise on the offensive end as an inside-outside threat.

He’ll be a combo forward at the next level, and with the Pelicans going into rebuild mode, he’d give them a young player that they can use right away in the front court and try to potentially build around.

I think Hunter has a chance to be a star in the NBA.”

Giovanni Spillman – Bol Bol. (Oregon)

“The Pelicans are likely to lose Anthony Davis in the off-season, and they should look to draft a center in this years draft.

Bol Bol is the son of former NBA star Manute Bol and could be a nice starter at the center position for New Orleans. He has nice length and is a nice inside force. He can also stroke the basketball from deep.

My only concern with Bol Bol is his weight, as he is currently very susceptible to injury because of it.”
