The 2018-19 regular season is over for the Charlotte Hornets, which means it’s time for our team to predict the awards for this season.

The 2018-19 season didn’t end the way the Charlotte Hornets and the fans were hoping it would, as the team missed out on the playoffs for a third consecutive season.

Despite not making it into the playoffs, the Charlotte Hornets gave it a good run and it really came down to the last day of the regular season. Hopefully they can have a successful off-season and get in the playoff picture next year.

With the regular season now in the books, the Swarm and Sting team has decided to make our predictions for each regular season award.

I don’t see any Hornets players winning hardware this season, but I do think there is a strong chance that Kemba Walker ends up on an All-NBA team. However, we won’t be including All-NBA teams in this discussion.

The 2018-19 season was one of the more exciting regular seasons in recent memory. We had plenty of drama, surprises and disappointments throughout the year. Some say the NBA is like a Soap Opera, and I can’t help but agree after this season.

Despite that drama, we saw some standout performances throughout the year from a handful of players. The race for MVP and all of the other awards is pretty tight, so it will be exciting to see who walks away victorious.

Let’s get into this and make our predictions for each award!
