Despite not making it into the 2019 NBA Playoffs, the Charlotte Hornets had a regular season filled with electrifying plays and moments.
While it is a major bummer that the Charlotte Hornets will not be participating in this years playoff basketball, that doesn’t mean we can’t stop and look back at what was the best regular season for the team in three years.
From big-time performances, to an epic All-Star weekend, to wild finishes, the Charlotte Hornets experienced a lot of excitement this season, but also a lot of disappointment.
Getting into the playoffs would have given the team some nice momentum heading into the off-season, but instead, the team must prepare early and get ready for what could be a franchise changing summer with the free agency of Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb fast approaching.

Both Walker and Lamb are going to command some serious cash this summer, and with the Hornets already having financial problems thanks to some poor contracts, there is some fear within the fan base that they will not be able to retain one of the two, or even both.
I mentioned poor contracts; Nicolas Batum is set to make over $52 million for the next two seasons, and Bismack Biyombo will make $17 million next season.
However, I digress, those are things to worry about later on over the summer. For now, let’s take a look back at the five best moments from the 2018-19 season.
There were plenty of awesome moments that happened throughout the season, but these five stood out and are my top moments of the regular season.
