1. “Madness in Toronto!”

This was an easy choice for me, Jeremy Lamb’s half-court heave was the most exciting moment of the 2018-19 season. Eric Collins’ call of “madness in Toronto!” stuck with me for days after. I mean, how often do you see something like this?

Not only was this an incredible shot, but it came at a time where the Hornets needed every win they can get. It looked like they were done for after Lamb fumbled the ball, but he made up for it in a big way and gave the Hornets a huge win against an Eastern Conference powerhouse.

It should be noted, this was just one out of three game winning shots that Lamb hit during the season, and one out of two against the Raptors. The other came against the Pistons early into the season.

Lamb certainly made a jump in terms of being a closer during the season. His play down the stretch of games took pressure off of Kemba Walker, and gave the Hornets a legit secondary option on offense.

The 2018-19 season produced some good memories for Charlotte Hornets fans, but with the team being all-in on making the playoffs, this season may be considered a failure to many within the organization.
