Charlotte Hornets: 10 prospects to watch at NBA Draft Combine
2. Bol Bol
Bol Bol to the Charlotte Hornets has been mentioned quite a lot, and understandably so. Prior to injuring his foot, he was a potential top-five pick. While he does have injury concerns, he may be worth the risk for Charlotte and other teams picking in the lottery.
Hopefully Bol can show a clean bill of health to teams during the Draft Combine. Foot injuries for players as tall as Bol are scary, but the talent he possesses is just so wildly entertaining. If he can stay healthy, he has potential to be a star.
He can stretch the floor, put the ball on the hardwood and make plays, and he’s a good rim protector. Bol uses his length to simply shoot over opposing players, and can make for a match-up nightmare.
Bol really is a legit option for the Hornets in the draft. They want to add rim protection, and Bol can bring that aspect to the team.
Again, his only concern is health. During his brief time at Oregon this past season, Bol had some jaw-dropping moments. He’s definitely caught the eye of multiple front offices, and could improve his draft stock if he shows he is fully healthy.
