7. Nassir Little
Once projected to be a top-three draft pick, North Carolina freshman disappointed some during his lone season at Chapel Hill, but he should still be a late lottery pick, and could be in play for the Charlotte Hornets late in the lottery.
I’m not sure if he will be participating in the 5-on-5 portion of the Draft Combine, but teams will be eager to interview him and see how he fares during the drills and testing. He has a lot of talent, but still has a lot of developing to do, particularly with his shooting.
Little averaged 9.8 points and 4.6 rebounds in only 18.2 minutes at North Carolina this past season. He has an NBA ready body, but he’ll need to put in work on his perimeter skills at the next level if he wants to succeed.
He is definitely someone that Charlotte Hornets fans should keep an eye on. Little is right in their draft range, and he would give them another great wing prospect to pair with Miles Bridges if they decide to go that route and draft Little.
Plus, taking someone who played college basketball in the same state is always cool. The fans would love him right away, especially with how hard Little plays.
