8. KZ Okpala
I feel like Stanford sophomore KZ Okpala doesn’t get talked about enough. He will look to make a name for himself in front of many front office’s during the Draft Combine.
Okpala is another guy with loads of upside. He’s a bouncy 6’8″ player that can play either forward position. His athleticism is off the charts, he’s an improved shooter and his playmaking has really impressed me.
Don’t be surprised if Okpala is among the top of the field when it comes to the Vertical Jump Test at the combine. That guy can get up and has some serious hops. He won’t be beating Zion Williamson in that aspect, though.
His draft range is sort of spotty at the moment, but if he has a strong showing at the Draft Combine, he could be a lock for the first round. He is someone that I would absolutely look at in the middle of the first round.
He does have some legit concerns defensively, but he has plenty of time to improve on the end of the floor. If he ends up going to the right team, he will have a chance to become a very good player at the next level.
