No. 10 – Atlanta Hawks (VIA DAL):

Zachary Padmore: Jaxson Hayes. (Texas)

“Jaxson Hayes would be my top choice for the Charlotte Hornets, but the Hawks would be smart to snag him here at 10. He would be a perfect fit with that young team, providing his services as a rim protector and finisher around the basket. If he pans out, he has a chance to be an elite two-way center.

The Hawks would fill two needs with both of their lottery picks. Hayes, along with Reddish, would be great additions to a team that could be back in the playoffs sooner rather than later. They have a chance to be scary good.”

Giovanni Spillman: Daniel Gafford. (Arkansas)

“I originally picked Daniel Gafford to go to the Hornets in the previous mock draft, but the Atlanta Hawks are in need of someone who can replace Dewayne Dedmon. Gafford is an efficient scorer and defender, and he could easily take the place of Dedmon if he leaves in free agency.

Gafford has great size at 6’11”, and he is able to play both front court positions. He averaged 16.9 points per game last season for Arkansas and proved that he can get it done on offense.”
