No. 15 – Detroit Pistons:
Zachary Padmore: Keldon Johnson. (Kentucky)
“3&D players are highly coveted in today’s NBA, and Keldon Johnson has a chance to be next in line in that department. He’s big, physical and tough, and also possesses a sweet shooting stroke that is only getting better. As we get closer to the draft, though, Johnson’s stock seems to be dropping a little bit, which is surprising to me.
The Pistons, who got into the playoffs this year, would benefit by adding a young player like Johnson to the mix. He’ll be able to come in and give that team some quality minutes right away, while learning from vets.”
Giovanni Spillman: Romeo Langford. (Indiana)
“At the halfway mark in this draft, I see Romeo Langford falling to the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons did not do well in the playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks, and a lot of this was due to their lack of scoring production from their back court.
Langford would be a great scoring option for the Pistons, as he has a great jump shot. He has proved to the scouts that he can score, and I would not be surprised if he ends up in the starting unit for Detroit. I am excited about this prospect, and Pistons fans should be as well if their team takes him.”
