No. 21 – Oklahoma City Thunder:

Zachary Padmore: Kevin Porter Jr. (USC)

“Kevin Porter’s freshman campaign got off to a red hot start, but injuries and a suspension during the season slowed him down and killed his momentum. Despite that, teams should be well aware of the potential he possesses, making him an easy first round choice.

Oklahoma City desperately needs some perimeter shooting, and while Porter Jr isn’t a pure shooter, he is a capable shooter and can probably make an impact right away for that franchise. He’s a really talented scorer, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he rises up draft boards once again and ends up in the lottery.”

Giovanni Spillman: Goga Bitadze. (Republic of Georgia)

“The Oklahoma City Thunder still lack a true backup behind Steven Adams. I originally picked Goga Bitadze, and I am going to stick with this pick. I like Bitadze’s size, and I think he could provide great depth at the five spot for the Thunder.

He is also a physical player, like Adams, and I see him being a force around the rim. He made a strong impact for his ABA team and proved that he could be a force on the defensive end of the court with his shot blocking. If the Thunder would like to improve their depth at the center position, then they definitely need to take a shot at Bitadze.”
