No. 23 – Utah Jazz:
Zachary Padmore: Eric Paschall. (Villanova)
“If he had a stronger senior season, then I would have considered Eric Paschall a lock for the first round. However, he didn’t exactly play up to the standard many expected him to, but he still projects to be an impact player in the NBA.
He’s a physical forward that can pass, shoot and defend. He’s draw comparisons to Draymond Green in the past, and while he will likely never be as good as Golden State’s All-Star, he will have a successful career if he goes to the right situation.
Utah has one of the best player development staffs in the entire league, and he would be a really good fit with the Jazz. This would be one of the best places for Paschall to end up, in my opinion.”
Giovanni Spillman: Jordan Nwora. (Louisville)
“I’m sticking with this pick for the Utah Jazz because I really like Jordan Nwora. He’s a Louisville Alumni, just like Donovan Mitchell, and I think the two Cardinals would prosper together on the same team.
He’s a great scorer at the forward position, and I think he could eventually challenge Joe Ingles for the starting spot. By averaging 17 points per game, he proved that he could be a leading scorer to NBA scouts. He also averaged 1.5 steals per game, so he proved that he can play defense. With his athletic abilities, he would be a nice fit in Utah’s defensive mindset.”
