No. 6 – Phoenix Suns:

Zachary Padmore: Brandon Clarke. (Gonzaga)

“Ja Morant was the man all Suns fans would have loved; he would have been a perfect fit in Phoenix. Brandon Clarke may be a perfect fit too, though. Putting a defensive minded player like Clarke next to Ayton would be smart. Clarke’s athleticism and defensive versatility would make him a good fit in Phoenix.

Clarke had a really good season for Gonzaga, and made himself a lottery pick. He’s a tremendous rim protector, a smart offensive player and a mature young man. He knows his role, and that role in Phoenix would be bringing energy on both ends of the court. Hopefully Phoenix can put things together soon, because adding Clarke with the talent they already possess just adds on to their already bright future.”

Giovanni Spillman: Coby White. (North Carolina)

“The Suns were on track to possibly get Ja Morant, but of course, they will not be able to now after falling four spots lower than what they were expecting. The Suns are in desperate need of a point guard, and I think their best option at this point will be Coby White.

White had a great season with UNC last season, and he started really making a name for himself toward the end of last season. The Suns would not only be getting a stellar guard with this pick, but they would also be getting the player with the best hair in the draft!”
