The Charlotte Hornets have a difficult decision to make in the next couple months. Should they re-sign Kemba Walker? Our writers dish out our takes.

As the team moves to go into one of it’s most important off-season discussions in recent years, the Charlotte Hornets are in a tough situation with Kemba Walker that threatens to get drastically worse. We at Swarm & Sting attempt to question and prepare for each outcome as anything is possible.

Myself, along with current Swarm and Sting site experts and contributors, have each asked ourselves the million dollar question of the off-season regarding Kemba Walker.

Spending as much time as anyone trying to understand the future, diving into what ifs, what could or should be done to remedy the situation, how the team will react in each instance, and countless other questions facing our team this off-season.

No one knows for certain which way the ball will roll as we attempt to discuss all aspects of Charlotte’s biggest decision in recent years. All that is certain is that Walker has given Charlotte eight great seasons of steady progression that has amounted to three All-Star appearances, 12,009 points, 1,283 three-pointers, 20,607 minutes played, and a brand new All-NBA selection to show for it.

And no player has arguably had more of an impact in Charlotte basketball’s history than Walker, who’s also the third-longest tenured player in the team’s young history with 605 games played to Dell Curry‘s 701 and Muggsy Bogues‘ 632.

But I digress, I would like to thank Zachary Padmore (@ZP12Hoops), Caleb Baugher (@C_bow4), Elijah Edwards (@Elijah_Blue_03), Giovanni “Vincent” Spillman (@GSpillmanNC), and Mr. Filippo (@Filippo4) for their help and contributions in making this discussion and I hope you all enjoy. So without delay, here we go…
