No. 2 – Utah Jazz
Much like some of the other teams on this list, Utah is going after the big names in free agency. If they miss out on guys like Kemba Walker, D’Angelo Russell and Tobias Harris, they could take a look at Lamb, who would fit in nicely in Utah’s second unit.
Utah is going to be wise with their cap space; they aren’t going to just spend money for the sake of it. While Lamb doesn’t push the needle as much as the other three names, he would help improve a team that is looking to take the next step in the Western Conference.
They really need another playmaker, and a guy that can get to the basket and create scoring opportunities. Lamb improved a lot in that area this past season, which is why I think he is such an intriguing fit in Utah with the Jazz.
Lamb would be able to take some of the major offensive pressure that Donovan Mitchell carries on occasion, which would only help the promising star’s development. Utah needs playmakers and shooters, Lamb fits the mold.
With Utah’s track record of player development and overall fit with the team, Lamb could be a sneaky good pickup for a perennial playoff team.
