No. 1 – Indiana Pacers

I think Indiana would be a really good fit for Lamb. Indiana is always a super competitive team, so you can expect them to again be active in free agency and improving the team. They need another creator, and Lamb could be their guy if they strike out on their top targets.

Victor Oladipo is still out nursing a devastating quad injury he suffered during this past season, and he’s likely going to miss some of the 2019-20 season, so Lamb could slide into the starting lineup until the two-time All-Star returns to the court.

When the roster is fully healthy, Lamb would be the sixth man that they thought they were getting in Tyreke Evans this past season. He can create, shoot, pass and play defense, and that’s kind of all-around ability is something that the Pacers will be seeking in their second unit.

I’m not sure who the Pacers will be looking at in free agency, but Lamb should be near the top of their list. He would fit right into what they are doing.

So, it’s clear that Lamb will have plenty of options this summer. Here’s hoping he remains with the Charlotte Hornets, but I’ll be following and watching him closely, regardless of where he ends up. Lamb was awesome this past season, and if he keeps improving, he’ll be a huge piece to a playoff team.
