Charlotte Hornets 2019 NBA Mock Draft Vol. 3: Full Two-Round Projections
The 2019 NBA Draft is nearly upon us, so it’s time for a final mock draft. See who the Charlotte Hornets and all other teams take in this full 60-pick mock.
The NBA Draft is one of my favorite times of the year. Seeing the young players fulfill a life long dream of making it into the NBA is heartwarming, and the trade activity during the draft is always fun. The Charlotte Hornets own the 12th overall pick in this years draft; this will be an important pick for the franchises future, if they elect to keep it.
This will be our third and final 2019 NBA Mock Draft installment. You can check out our very first mock here, and our second and most recent mock draft here.
The Hornets have worked out a bunch of potential targets for the 12th overall pick prior to the draft. At this point, there is no clear favorite, but with this being a deep draft class, they will have their choice at a really nice prospect regardless, even in the second round.

Trading the pick is certainly an option for Charlotte, and something that wouldn’t surprise me at all. If they were to trade the 12th overall pick, it would be for an impact player that can play an important role for Charlotte right away. Maybe a move like that would show impending free agent Kemba Walker that the team is committed to winning right now.
Our first two mock drafts solely covered the first round of the draft, but with this being the last mock draft, we are going to extend it and make it a full mock draft. 30 teams, 60 picks, let’s get this started with the New Orleans Pelicans.
