SF. NORTH CAROLINA. NASSIR LITTLE. 12. player. 170. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

So, Hornets fans, how do you feel about this pick? Nassir Little has been improving his stock throughout the pre-draft process, and could be the man the Hornets are looking for with the 12th overall pick.

Many would say that Little had a disappointing freshman season at North Carolina, and I would agree with that. He averaged just 9.8 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting 27 percent drom deep. However, you can’t ignore the potential that he has. His defensive and athletic abilities make him a two-way force.

Another thing that I love about Little is his strength. He’s coming into the NBA with a jacked body. He’ll be able to take hits when driving to the hoop, and that helps a lot more than many thing. His biggest weakness is easily his shooting, and he’s been eager to show front offices that he has improved in that area.

If he can improve that shot, he’d make a really intriguing pairing with Miles Bridges. You can never have too many wings in today’s NBA, and I think that Charlotte will really like his ability to play both ends of the court come draft night.

If the Hornets keep their draft pick, Little will be a candidate, for sure.
