Goga Bitadze is easily one of the best international prospects in this years draft. He’s made a lot of improvements since last season, and will be a safe bet to go in the first round of the draft. Boston could look at the inside-outside big from the Republic of Georgia here at the end of the lottery.

Bitadze averaged 12.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in the EuroLeague this past season. He improved his perimeter shooting, finishing the year at 31 percent from downtown. His shooting still needs a lot of work, but it’s promising to see that he’s putting in the work.

He’s a major force inside the paint, using his strong body to finish through contact. He’s not a great athlete, which limits him at times, but overall, he’s a solid all-around big man that has a chance to be starting quality one day.

Boston does a great job developing their young talent, so adding a young big like Bitadze would be fun. Plus, it gives them some insurance depth in case they lose Al Horford in free agency this year (if he opts-out of his contract).
