The 76ers have one of the better starting lineups in the NBA, so now they will just need to add some depth to their bench. Florida State junior Mfiondu Kabengele would be a good target to place behind Joel Embiid, especially since Embiid has had durability issues over the years.

Kabengele came off the bench for most of his college career, and he played his role perfectly. His job was to bring energy and effort, and he did that and more. His motor and intensity are two of his biggest traits. When you put him in a game, he’s going to get you numbers, that’s for sure.

During the 2018-19 season, Kabengele averaged 13.2 points and 5.9 rebounds. He shot 37 percent from downtown, which opens up his game a lot. He also won the 2018-19 ACC Sixth Man of the Year, and it was well deserved.

I think Philadelphia would be a really good fit for Kabengele. He could probably get rotation minutes as a rookie, and with his energy, the coaching staff is going to love him and can deploy him in situations when you need the crowd to get loud.
