Speaking of risers, Terence Davis went from being projected undrafted to being a potential first rounder. He’s impressed many teams with his explosiveness and ability to get into the paint. He’s a good shooter as well and figures to be a rotational guard at the next level.
Talen Horton-Tucker’s draft stock appears to be falling, but the 18 year old still has a lot of fans and could go in the first round. At 6’4″ with a 7’1″ wingspan, Horton-Tucker has really intriguing physical attributes. He’ll need to improve all of his skills, but he is definitely physically gifted.
For the Hornets first second rounder, they could look at a big like Daniel Gafford. The sophomore from Arkansas knows his role offensively and will embrace it. He stays around the rim and will make a living as a rebounding inside scorer. He’s also a pretty good defender, which makes for an intriguing prospect.
