Charlotte Hornets 2019 NBA Mock Draft Vol. 3: Full Two-Round Projections
Dairus Bazley, like Jalen Lecque, is making the jump to the NBA straight from high school. Bazley was going to play at Syracuse, but decided to train for the draft for the past year. He’s a talented kid, but is going to be a major project when he gets to the NBA. You likely won’t see him do a whole lot for at least a few years.
Arizona State big man Zylan Cheatham has impressed many in the past few weeks, putting himself on draft radar in the second round. Cheatham is extremely athletic and will be able to switch and guard the perimeter. He can also bring energy to a second unit, which makes him an attractive option late in the draft.
Kris Wilkes went back to UCLA for his sophomore season hoping to improve his draft stock and land in the first round. That didn’t happen, but Wilkes will still have a chance to hear his named called on draft night. He’s a long wing player that can hit shots from the perimeter and be active defensively.
