Who is one possible choice in the second round?

Vincent: When it comes to a second-round target, I would like to see the Hornets go after Tacko Fall if they do not select a center in the first round. Fall has crazy size and length, and he could easily be a defensive threat for the Hornets. He has a raw offensive game, but I think he would progress nicely under James Borrego.

Caleb: A guy to look for in the second round would be a possible wing player like Jaylen Hoard of Wake Forest. Jaylen is a 6’9’’ guy from France with talent all around. His hustle and speed gives him the drive to compete and demonstrates an NBA ready game as far as offense goes. Another sleeper to look for is Deividas Sirvydis out of Lithuania. This lefty is a proven shooter, something any team in the league could use. Charlotte hasn’t really drafted an international player and this player could be the game changer the Hornets are looking for as more and more Europeans are dominating the league.

Filippo: I would like to use our 36th pick on Nicolas Claxton if he is available, he is young, long and really skilled. Able to guard multiple position and to adjust well in a switch defense. It is really hard, but not impossible to find him at #36.

Elijah: Tacko Fall would be an intriguing pick here based solely on his size, but I wonder about his offensive game. Defensively, he is sound, but the Hornets need more than that in the interior.

Zack: I would say that this is a pretty deep draft class, so the Hornets will have some good options at 36th overall and 52nd overall as well. Admiral Schofield is someone that’s NBA ready and would be a really good pick for any team in the second round. He plays hard, defends very well and can hit from the perimeter. Schofield is going to have a very long and successful NBA career.

De: I would say the cheaper version of Bismack Biyombo is Tacko Fall, but that’s just based on height and his possible defensive potential, but I’m tired of one-dimensional players at the five. Maybe Admiral Schofield could be a diamond with his two-way potential, but we really have a tough time finding quality players in the second round. Devonte’ Graham and Dwayne Bacon are the only good players we’ve taken late in recent years.
