The draft is hours away. What’re you looking forward to mostly?

Brendan: “This draft is another draft for Kupchak to build around a young core or use the 12th pick to trade for another star caliber player to show Free Agent PG Kemba Walker that the Hornets do want to find themselves in the playoffs for years to come. Personally, I am excited to see how tonight can shake up what happens on June 30th.”

Zachary: “The draft is always one of my favorite events of the year. Not only is it great to see these young men accomplish a life-long dream of getting drafted into the NBA, but it’s also great to follow the chaos that surrounds the draft. There is constant trade talk and it makes for one entertaining night. Grab your popcorn, folks.”

Elijah: “Obviously, I’m looking forward to seeing who we pick and what that means for the overall roster over the summer. At the 12th spot, there are quality players, but nothing that I think will immensely help our team, but hopefully, I am wrong.”

De: “I’m always excited around draft time for both the Hornets and Panthers. For the Hornets, it’s the second year for the Kupchak-Borrego partnership and I’m hoping we can build on the work they did last draft. Bridges and Graham are solid players, and hopefully we can add one or two more players that can complement these guys.”

Vincent: “I am looking forward to finally see what the Hornets do in this upcoming draft. It feels like the wait has been forever, but I’m ready to see the Hornets draft another superstar. With the pick that the Hornets have, there’s hope that they can get someone good who can help the team.”
