Free Agency begins tomorrow at 6:00 PM. The Charlotte Hornets may not be as active as other teams, but they should have no shortage of suitors.
In typical NBA fashion, the chaos and craziness of Free Agency has been going on for weeks, despite the fact that Free Agency hasn’t even started yet. The Charlotte Hornets All-Star guard Kemba Walker will be one of the many stars hitting the open market at 6:00 tomorrow afternoon.
Who knows what’s going to end up happening with Walker and the Hornets. It seems as if Boston is the heavy favorite, but none of us know what’s going on behind the scenes. Only time will tell, but the Hornets can’t just worry about Walker.
Plenty of other free agents are out there, and while the Hornets aren’t always that active during this time period, they could make some under-the-radar moves. Today, the Swarm and Sting team will be looking at free agents from each position that we think (and wish) the Hornets could target.

The Hornets cap situation has obviously limited them the past couple of years and will continue to limit them this year, but it can’t hurt to dream, right?
Getting back on track, this Free Agency period is likely going to be a franchise changing one for Charlotte. If Kemba Walker decides to sign elsewhere, then it’s time to go into full rebuild mode. If he decides to stay, it’s once again up to the Hornets to improve the talent around him and get this team back into the playoffs.
With all of that being said, let’s get right into this and take a look at which point guards we would like to see the team target during Free Agency.
