Even though the 2019-2020 NBA season is still a few months away, our writers wanted to speculate on some predictions for the Charlotte Hornets.

It’s safe to say that the upcoming season for the Charlotte Hornets is not going to be a remarkable one. Granted, there’s always a chance one or two players could show out and the team could actually reach the postseason, but most fans are expecting much less.

Losing a franchise talent like Kemba Walker, plus their second leading scorer from last season, Jeremy Lamb, puts them towards the bottom of the NBA. It was a crippling loss that hurt the fan base. At the end of the day, it’s time for the Charlotte Hornets to build again and keep moving forward with this young core in place.

Today, the Swarm and Sting team are back for another round table. We’ll be discussing five early predictions going into the 2019-20 season. The roster, for the most part, is set. Charlotte may sign another player or two, and then some training camp bodies, but we have a good idea on what the team will look like going into next season.

Still, there is much to speculate on and while most people will just write the upcoming season off, some fans are still very interested to see how everything plays out for the Charlotte Hornets. This includes our crew of writers who are still very much invested in the Hornets. Without further ado, let’s get started with question number one.
