No. 10 – Atlanta Hawks

The team with the best young talent in the league may very well be the Atlanta Hawks. This team has the potential to be scary in the future and be at the top of the Eastern Conference for many years to come. Right now, though, they are still in the early stages of their rebuild and still have some things to do moving forward.

Trae Young, John Collins, Kevin Huerter, De’Andre Hunter and Cameron Reddish is a very good core to build around. It’s a great combination of elite shooting and perimeter defending. Young and Huerter can shoot the lights out, while Collins and Hunter are always active on both sides of the floor.

The next step for them is simply growing as a unit. Everything is in place for this team to be successful, now the players just need to go out there and play to the best of their abilities. They have an excellent coach in Lloyd Pierce and a General Manager in Travis Schlenk who worked extensively with the former NBA Champion Golden State Warriors.

It may not begin this season, but the Hawks are going to be really tough for the foreseeable future. They’ve drafted near perfectly over the past couple of years and have set themselves up beautifully. If you want to know what a recent successful rebuild looks like, look at this Hawks team. They are going to be GOOD.
