His future with the team

Cody Zeller, in my opinion, is a very underrated center in this league. He’s not a flashy player, but he does so many things well and when he’s healthy, he’s a major difference maker for the Charlotte Hornets. Over the years, he just can’t seem to stay healthy, and that could have an impact on his future with the team.

Last season, Zeller played in just 49 games. The year before that, it was only 33 games. He has been completely hampered by injuries. Whether it’s his knee, hand or something else, Zeller just can’t seem to catch a break. If he can’t stay on the floor, then it may be time to move on from him.

He’ll be fully healthy going into training camp, so hopefully he can stay that way. He’ll be the starting center for the Hornets and is one of the best players on the roster. He could be in for a very good year if he can manage to remain on the court.

Zeller averaged 10.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists for Charlotte last season. He’s very good in the pick-and-roll, he’s improving as a shooter and passer and he’s always very active around the basket. If he gave the Hornets some better rim protection, it would take his game to another level.

If he stays healthy during training camp and during the 2019-20 season, I believe Zeller is in for a big season.
