30. Ish Smith, Washington Wizards

During last season, Ish Smith did not start a single game for the Detroit Pistons. Smith only appeared in 56 games, and during those games, he averaged 8.9 points and 3.6 assists per game.

Smith is a veteran who signed a 2-year $12 million contract with the Washington Wizards. Smith is entering his 10th season in the league, and he is expected to start since the team is still dealing with John Wall’s injury.

29. Delon Wright, Dallas Mavericks

Heading into next season, Delon Wright has the opportunity to become a consistent starter for the Dallas Mavericks. He managed to average 12.2 points and 5.3 assists per game last season after he was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Wright will have to compete with Jalen Brunson for the starting spot, and he will need to continue to build onto the success he had at the end of last season. Wright finished last season with three triple-doubles.

28. DJ Augustin, Orlando Magic

Augustin is approaching the end of his career, and he may not remain as Orlando’s starting point guard for long. The Magic recently traded for Markelle Fultz last season, and he could be a solid competitor for the starting point guard spot.

Augustin is expected to come back as the team’s starter after his performance last season. Augustin averaged 11.7 points and 5.3 assists per game last season and even helped his team win Game 1 against the Toronto Raptors in the playoffs.
