15. Reggie Jackson, Detroit Pistons

Reggie Jackson is entering his ninth season, and he has not averaged high scoring numbers like he did in the 2015-16 season. The drop in his scoring numbers is due to the two monsters in the frontcourt.

If Jackson manages to get back to where he used to be as a scorer, then I think he can help take his team to another level. If Blake Griffin and Andre Drumond can help Jackson find open looks, then next season should be great for the eight-year pro.

14. Lonzo Ball, New Orleans Pelicans

Ball was traded to the Pelicans during this offseason, and he only played half the season last year for the Lakers. Since he is joining the Pelicans, he will have a better overall team to play with, as well as the #1 pick from this year’s draft, Zion Williamson.

Ball has proven that he is a triple-double threat, and he should fit in well with the Pelicans. His ability to find open teammates and make smart reads will help his young teammates consistently develope.

13. Ben Simmons, Philadelphia 76ers

It’s hard to consider Simmons a point guard sometimes, but this past season he proved that he could make the transition to the backcourt. Simmons will be without Jimmy Butler next season, but he will still have quite the supporting cast.

Simmons slightly improved from the 2017-18 season last year, but still has not found a way to establish a consistent jump shot. Simmons is really good at driving to the bucket for a score, but he will not be a top-10 point guard yet until he establishes a consistent perimeter game.
