Houston Rockets

  • ’18-19 Record: 53-29
  • ’18-19 Season Series: 2-0 (Rockets)
  • ’19-20 Advantage: Rockets

After a disappointing end to their 2018-19 campaign, the Houston Rockets have gone all-in after trading for Russell Westbrook during the off-season. The teams window to win a championship is right now, and they must take advantage in a now wide-open league.

Things could go south for them, but if Westbrook and James Harden can co-exist and play at a high level, they are going to be really tough to beat. They have one of the more talented back courts in the NBA and a nice core to go with them.

The Hornets have just one win over the Rockets in the past eight years, which shows how consistent and tough of a team they have been. They are a championship caliber team and getting a win against them is going to be really tough.

This is just another one of those no-brainers I was talking about. The Charlotte Hornets are going to struggle against the Houston Rockets in 2019-20.
