Los Angeles Clippers

  • ’18-19 Record: 48-34
  • ’18-19 Season Series: 2-0 (Clippers)
  • ’19-20 Advantage: Clippers

The biggest winner of the 2019 off-season has got to be the Los Angeles Clippers, as they landed Kawhi Leonard in free agency and Paul George in a trade. After those additions, they are considered by many the favorite to win the 2020 NBA Championship, and I certainly agree with that.

Leonard, in my opinion, is the best player in the world, and in the prime of his career. He carried the Raptors to their first ever championship last season in what was one of the most impressive individual playoff runs I have seen in quite some time.

Los Angeles could be load managing throughout the season, which could give a team like the Hornets at least a fighting chance, but that’s not a guarantee. Even if they do, they will be tough to beat, considering they still have a lot of their returning players from last seasons team.

The Clippers are arguably the best team in the NBA, while the Hornets are arguably the worst team in the NBA. That should tell you all you need to know.
