Los Angeles Lakers

  • ’18-19 Record: 37-45
  • ’18-19 Season Series: 2-0 (Lakers)
  • ’19-20 Advantage: Lakers

The Lakers missed the playoffs during the 2018-19 season, which was shocking to many fans around the league. After adding Anthony Davis in the off-season, though, a playoff appearance should be on the way.

They may have missed on Kawhi Leonard, but they still did a good job landing players like Danny Green and Jared Dudley. They have a decent collection of role players that will play big time roles for them this season as they look to make a run at the championship.

I’m not sure if this is enough firepower to be considered favorites to go all the way, but they are certainly one of the best teams in the Western Conference. They are going to be one of the more interesting teams to watch during the 2019-20 season.

Last season, the Lakers blew out the Hornets on two occasions, and I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens again this season. This is another no-brainer.
