Sacramento Kings

  • ’18-19 Record: 39-43
  • ’18-19 Season Series: 1-1
  • ’19-20 Advantage: Kings

Completely opposite from what I thought of the Blazers this summer, I think the Kings had one of the stronger off-seasons in the NBA. They added three veterans in Dewayne Dedmon, Trevor Ariza and Cory Joseph and have a rising superstar at the point guard spot in De’Aaron Fox.

The Western Conference is brutal, but I truly believe this is a playoff team. They haven’t made the playoffs in 13 years, so a playoff berth in 2019-20 would mean a lot to that fan base. They are a young team on the rise, but they have enough weapons to make some noise right now. I love every move they made this summer.

After years and years of losing, the fans finally have something to cheer about in Sacramento. Hopefully it doesn’t take that long for the Hornets to get back into the playoff picture, but to be fair, the Kings front office hasn’t exactly been the brightest up until a couple years ago.

Playing only twice per season, I don’t see the Charlotte Hornets having much success against the Sacramento Kings in 2019-20.
