It’s Halloween, so today feels like a good time to look at the scariest stat from each Charlotte Hornets starter to begin the 2019-20 season.
Before preparing to hand out some candy later on tonight, let’s take a look at the scariest stat from each Charlotte Hornets starter from the beginning of the regular season. I know, we’re only five games in, but it’s Halloween! Let’s have some fun.
Many expected a scary start for the Charlotte Hornets, but they’ve managed to get two early wins against Chicago and Sacramento. Two wins is two wins, and it’s certainly better than zero wins. Regardless of how they finish from here on out, at least they have shown a bit of promise.
Despite that, this is still a rebuilding season, and I’m still expecting them to finish towards the bottom of the league. They will, however, compete every night, regardless of the opposition.
The starting lineup of Terry Rozier, Dwayne Bacon, Miles Bridges, PJ Washington and Cody Zeller has been consistent since the start of the season. All five games are playing a bunch of minutes, and with those minutes comes positives and negatives.
For the most part, each player has had many positives thus far, but also a glaring negative. We’ll be focusing on the bad stuff today. Sorry, Charlotte Hornets fans! Insert evil laugh here, or the classic Kawhi Leonard laugh for a quick chuckle.
If each starter can improve on these stats, it will certainly improve the Hornets chances as they look to keep surprising teams. Let’s kick things off with the starting point guard, ‘Scary Terry’ Rozier, who has had an up-and-down five game stint so far.
