#11-20

Pick Analysis. 11. player. 521. Scouting Report. C. Washington. Isaiah Stewart

One of the best incoming freshman in the country is Isaiah Stewart. He’s only 6’9″ for a center, but he makes up for it with a massive 7’4″ wingspan. He’s also a strong, physical player that can finish through contact. Unless something goes wrong, Stewart has a great chance of going in the lottery come draft day.

Killian Hayes is another fun international prospect to watch out for. He has good size at 6’5″ and elite athleticism to go with it. He can get to the basket in a hurry while also being able to change speeds in a bolt. He’s tough to cover when he’s got a full head of steam. He’s not a great shooter, but his other attributes make him intriguing enough for a lottery selection.

PG. Nico Mannion. Scouting Report. Arizona. 13. player. 511. Pick Analysis

Every time I watch Nico Mannion play, I walk away more and more impressed, particularly with his steadiness. He’s a true point guard that can run a team. He doesn’t have long arms and he’s not the best athlete, but he’ll make good decisions with the ball, take smart shots and give you 100 percent effort.

438. Pick Analysis. Louisville. player. SG/SF. Samuell Williamson. 14. Scouting Report

Samuell Williamson is a super smooth prospect that seems to get underrated by many. His size at 6’7″ allows him to play multiple positions on the court, and he has a good shooting stroke to go with it. He can score from all three levels, but I would like to see him attack the basket more often. He can fall in love with the jump shot a little to much, but his upside is very high. Jayson Tatum may be a good comparison.

player. Pick Analysis. Oregon. N'Faly Dante. 15. 515. Scouting Report. C

Freshman center N’Faly Dante isn’t on the court right now after being ruled ineligible, but he’s got scouts intrigued because of his long-term upside. He’s 6’11” tall with a massive wingspan, which comes in handy when protecting the rim. He won’t take many shots out of the restricted area, but he’ll provide a ton of inside scoring and defense.

Tyrese Haliburton. player. PG. Iowa State. 16. 461. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Tyrese Haliburton exceeded expectations during his freshman season at Iowa State, and should be in for another productive season as a sophomore. He’s another tall and lengthy point guard who can put up all-around numbers. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him flirting with triple doubles throughout the season.

Ayo Dosunmu. 17. 481. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. PG/SG. Illinois. player

Next we have another point guard returning for his sophomore season in Ayo Dosunmu. Many thought he would take the jump into the NBA last season, but an extra year of experience won’t hurt him. He’s an explosive athlete, but must continue to improve his shooting moving forward.

Scouting Report. SF. player. 438. Pick Analysis. Louisville. Jordan Nwora. 18

Jordan Nwora made a huge improvement during his sophomore season and could have been a first round pick last year, but he opted to return to Louisville for a third season. I’m expecting a monster season from him, solidifying that first round status. One of the better all-around wings in this draft.

Scouting Report. Tyler Bey. player. 514. Pick Analysis. SF. Colorado. 19

One of my personal favorite prospects in college basketball is Colorado’s Tyler Bey. He’s back for his junior year, and could seal his status as a first round pick if he preforms well. He plays both ends of the court and can be a versatile piece to an NBA rotation. He’s a terrific athlete that has gotten better each year.

player. 434. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. C. Duke. 20. Vernon Carey Jr

Vernon Carey Jr is an interesting prospect. On one hand, he was one of the best high school players a year ago and a top five incoming recruit, but on the other hand, he has more of an old school game. Not that it’s a bad thing, but it will probably hurt his draft stock. Still, he should be an easy first rounder.
