Bogdan Bogdanovic

When Bleacher Report suggested Bogdan Bogdanovic, I wasn’t sure how I felt about this one. Bogdanovic is a player that Charlotte could acquire, as the Sacramento Kings is another team not doing well this season.

Bogdanovic has not started in a single game this season, but his numbers have continued to rise since last season. In his third year, he’s averaging 14.5 points and 3.6 assists per game.

Bogdanovic has proved that he can score in a variety of ways this season. He’s currently shooting 43% from the field and 38% from behind the arc. He’s also shown that he can consistently get steals, as he averages 1.1 per game.

Once again, I only see a trade like this working if the Hornets are looking to trade or move Miles Bridges to the bench. If Charlotte was to continue to favor Bridges and make this trade, then Bogdanovic would continue to only see bench minutes.

However, Bogdanovic has been able to play shooting guard as well, meaning that the Hornets could move Devonte’ Graham or Terry Rozier to the bench. While this is possible, I do not see Charlotte doing that as well, considering how well they are playing with each other.

The Kings are loaded at the forward position, so I don’t see the Hornets trading for him unless they are trading away a guard or a center.
